The Adinkra language of Ghana West Africa is  a symbolic language, originally used on cloth, to express certain social and spiritual beliefs. This hand pulled, hand painted image is one of a series of unique impressions created from the block which was originally designed for greeting cards. Two symbols have been combined here, the Kerapa symbol of spiritual strength and the Gye Nyame symbol of the omnipotent God.
